Monski Mouse DJ Fun For Babies

Hit the dance floor with your tiny tots and dance, dance, dance at this year's Underbelly Festival! This pop-tastic, child-friendly event lets parents and under fives loose on the dancefloor at the friendliest of discos. On the decks you’ll find resident DJ Mama Monski Mouse with her mega-mix of retro hits and jazzy nursery rhymes. There’s a baby area decked out with soft furnishing for the littlest of ravers to safely roll around in and the whole venue is a sight to behold with a velvet ceiling, mirrored booths and a wooden dancefloor that will send heads, shoulders, knees and toes a'bopping.

Follow in the footsteps of Harry Potter and his friends with your little witches and wizards. Head over to Westminster tube station to begin your walking tour and unearth the magical filming locations. Delve into the underground world of the Ministry of Magic and find the entrance to Diagon Alley. Your tour will begin at Westminster tube station, where you’ll be greeted by a wizarding world expert. Look out for the entrance of the Leaky Cauldron pub and spot the Statue of Secrecy. Potter enthusiasts will delight in unearthing the place in which muggles and wizards gathered for a meal of pickled eel and bowls of soup. You’ll even have the chance to walk along the Millennium Bridge, that was once destroyed by Death Eaters and to locate Platform 9 ¾!  Alohomora! Unlock the magic of Harry Potter filming locations with your muggle born family.

Squish Space at the Barbican

This multi-sensory play adventure is a dream for the under 5s and a total hidden gem slap bang in the middle of London. Best of all, it's totally free! Squish Space provides a safe environment for babies and young children to discover and play with different textures and materials. Developed by India and Lisa together with Barbican Guildhall Creative Learning, sessions include the Barbican Bus, which blends together digital storytelling and making activities. As well as this three-day residency, Squish Space is open on specific dates throughout the year (including during school holidays), from 10am-4pm and families are welcome to drop in at any time.

This May, Raver Tots is bringing its brilliant kid-friendly rave to Essex for a huge family festival. With 5,000 people expected, it’ll celebrate the best of British rave culture, with some of the UK’s most talented DJs set to grace the stage, and tonnes of fun suitable for all ages. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment - along with the incredible rave music, there will be a fun fair, play areas, inflatables, glitter art, face-painting, bubbles, giant balloons, huge confetti cannons and so much more. Like every great festival, there will also be tents, exclusive merch and affordable food stalls. Last year it sold out a month in advance so make sure you grab yourself a ticket while you still can!
