Are you looking for a hilarious movie that both kids and adults will love? The 2011 film Bridesmaids is a comedy that will make you cry with laughter, and this summer you've got the chance to see it on the big screen at Enfield's Troubadour Meridian Water. A trip to this 1950s-inspired drive-in cinema to see the Bridesmaids is perfect for grown-ups and older kids who enjoy comedies and feel-good films.
Meet Annie, a single thirtysomething woman whose life isn't going the way she planned it. When she discovers her best friend, Lilian, is getting married, she realises she has no choice but to be her maid of honour. Her life starts to unravel as her bakery business fails, she loses her boyfriend and all of her savings. It seems that everything she touches goes wrong. Annie must now navigate a group of bridesmaids down the road to matrimony. Whilst gaining bridesmaidzilla status, can Annie bluff her way through the expensive rituals, put on a great bachelorette party and be the maid of honour her best friend needs?
The Bridesmaids cast is fantastic, with Kristen Wiig, who also co-wrote the script, leading the cast as Annie, Maya Rudolph as bride-to-be Lillian and Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper as the group of bridesmaids.
This outdoor drive-in cinema is providing brilliant entertainment in the safest possible way. It is a new contact-free way to enjoy the cinema, from scanning your entry tickets to ordering your snacks. There are plenty more films to see with your older kids if you love this experience, including Bad Boys for Life and Dirty Dancing.
The Drive In is a must this summer, so don’t delay and get your tickets for Bridesmaids while they're still available!
